Ha! I found some action shots on Tri-State's website.  IF you leave it at 20 pix per page the FWD heat is on pages 13 & 14 and the feature is on 25 & 26.  Or you can hit the ALL button to the right and it will load them all and you have to scroll through them.

Third this week. Started sixth of 8 cars. Was up to fourth. Got run up three wide. Managed to sneak back to third on a late race restart. More hardware to add to this year's collection, and the car is in one piece. I'll post a video later on that was shot from the stands.

To mix things up this week I went to a second track last night. Started last in the heat and finished third. Started 15'th out of 18 cars in the feature and finished fourth by a nose.

Awesome work! I wish we had a tighter pack of cars like that. Our cars wouldn't last long cause these rednecks (describing me too) will just hit you if they can't pass you.

My AFR tuning worked I think. :) I even sprung for a $99 digital advance timing gun but for some reason it would quit working above 2000 RPM's. Gotta go talk to Oreillys about that. Base was at 13 so not quite the 2* bump I was shooting for. I left it alone. I gave it an oz.-per-gallon shot of 104 so maybe that was a little help too.

The weather was cool and had rained on the track mid-day so the hot laps and even heats were pretty muddy. By feature time there was a strong groove up high, where my car likes to run 3rd gear, but it was approaching "dry-slick" which would have happened had there been more cars there.

The red/black 88 car is Poe in a Mazda 626 V6 5 speed (175hp) and the black 73 is a kid (Cory) in a 98 GSR Teg (185 hp?). Don't watch this unless you want to see a "118hp" CRX leave em sittin'. ;)

5th of 33 drivers today at MIR.  First in NXE by a full 3 seconds on a 55 second course.  I'm far enough ahead now that if I make every event for the rest of the season I'll win the championship.  Just have to keep the car together :-)

Bought a nice Momo steering wheel to replace the one I broke last week.  It's a full inch smaller and it caught me off guard causing me to win today's John Deere award.

Anyway, video soon.

1st in NXE again today.  I'm now running first in points by over 200 (a first place finish is 100 points, 2nd 90, 3rd 85, etc).

Here is a vid of my DNF and winner of the John Deere award for today AKA how to spin off the track at 80 mph :D

That's still awesome good fun! Looked like you dropped the left tires on the grass and it was all over. Hey, I spend the whole night "off-road." Lol! I'd like to try turning both directions if there was a venue close by.

thanks man.  my driving has improved considerably since I took the Starting Line school in April.  And those r-comp tires don't hurt none, neither :)

Got put in the wall on the first lap. I will let the pictures speak for themselves.

ouch...  Drivers trying to win on the first lap piss me off something terrible.  The only damage I have to mine so far is from cars that are clearly slower that rough you up thinking they can win the next eleven laps. NOT!

Sorry to see that, hope you can bang that shit out and go back at it.
