i don't know if it is actually for sale yet.

He's sending me the prototype next week and I'll put
it in and take pics and such for him (and will post them
here also)

As explained to me the holes that need to be cut for the
handle of the little storage box were going to be
extremely expensive because they would have to make
a tool or something.
(all mats are actually hand made to customer specs)

But I think anyone with an ancient CRX can do that, and also
if its not exact the handle is large enough that it wont show
if its not cut perfect.

Anyway, looks like it worked out smile.gif

They look great. Thanks for sending your original in for the template.

I just placed an order for one; graphite carpet, silver logo, no cut-outs. I asked in the memo section if they could send me some extra edgeing material so I can make a cut-out for the handle if I want. Can't wait.

Got mine tonight! Looks great. Even though it's cold and dark outside I had to go throw it in. First impressions are really good. I'll try to get some pics this weekend and then I'm going to look into modding it to fit around the handle. They threw in plenty of extra edgeing like I requested... Big thumbs up to DSTuning. Their products are top notch.

Could the people that purchased these rear mats state how the fabic is. I have bought floor mats from him and they came out great. So maybe this would be a nice touch to the back. It looks like its actual carpet back there but i wanted to confirm.

They are made exactly like the floor mats, rubber backing and all. It's not replacement carpet for the rear; just a huge floor mat to cover the factory carpet. But there is no reason you couldn't use it as your carpet if you needed to.

For now I just have the handle bolted through the mat. I figure I'll leave it like that for a few weeks and then pull it off and it should leave a good impression of what need to be cut off. They sent plenty of extra edgeing material to finish it off. The only little complaint I have is that it could be a bit longer; like 1/2". You can see it doesn't quite come all the way to the edge behind the seats, but otherwise I am very happy with it.
