Note: g1 teg pan swap will not work. the g1 teg pan is wider than the CRX pan.

Yes...this is true.
How did we make this determination?
Did we use a simple tape measure to compare?...No

I drive one hour to meetup with Shawn(shadowboy) who brings out the seats. I remove the driver seat from his car and proceed to tear apart. Continue with teg seat. Have it down to two bare pans when notice that the area where the seatback mounts looks drastically different...Hmmm, lets try fitting those together. Nope two inch difference in width.
Had I been smart enough, i would have had him check the width before committing the time and effort. Sometimes I hate being stupid. Reassemble both seats and reinstall original seat back into his car. Leave depressed.

Note to self...
Check width measurements before tearing apart next time

Easy solution is to find a set of fore mentioned US 88 CRX seats, or like I have any 88-91 EDM/JDM seats. They are really supportive for street cruising, not a race seat. All you need to do is swap the rails over, (4 bolts). Even if you get a set of trashed 88 CRX seats somewhere, ebay has some really cool seat covers to fix them up.

Once a woman is introduced to Colonel Angus, she'll settle for nothing less.
