Whats up RPR? well im in austin texas now. i live in a apartment and i barely know people here.. my question is does anyone know of a good tuning shop around here? like a shop that can do work on a 1st gen crx. like motor swap and suspension installs.. i dont have my tools here and i dont have a garage too, so it will be hard. please help me out guys! thank you!

Here. And see if you can't search for davens, on this site. I believe he is still down there. Oh and fyi San Antonio is only like and hour and a half from you. You could possibly pick up crybaby's swapped crx instead.

hey there, i'm new to rpr, and to 3rd gen civics (just bought my 86 si yesterday), but i've been in austin for 5 years now. my uncle (who's lived here for about 12 yrs) had an 86 si and i believe that he used Flamingo for most of his work. they specialize in hondas, and i know the guy has a 2nd gen crx he races, but i'm not sure how much they do as far as tuning. i think they may just be general repair. i'm going to talk to them tomorrow about the possibility of a swap, since my engine has 209k on it, but it's still strong so who knows.

oh yeah, they're on Guadalupe around 35th st. i think.

It looks like theres 3 or 4 people on rpr that live in Austin.
