    • Drives: 1987 CRX DX. Upgrades (so far) Illuminas on all four corners, new rims & tires & Eldo's carb mod. Needs some rust repair. 1993 Civic Si as a daily driver that I have sworn to keep stock (so $$ can go to the CRX).
This post reminds me I haven't been to engrish.com for a while...

Isn't Holden one of the european GM companies? Maybie I'm wrong. I'm pretty sure the Holden Monaro is the European new Pontiac GTO. Looks the same, has the 5.7L motor... perhaps it's just a wild coincidence tongue.gif

Yes and no, Holden is an Australian subsidiary of GM. The return of the GTO, that the media seems to rave about, is actually the Monaro. It was the Monaro that was brought to the US and labeled the GTO. The Monaro was actually in existence and sold for several years before GM had the idea to use it as the GTO.

In England the Vauxhall Motors subsidiary for GM sells the Monaro under its nameplate.

GM's bout bankrupt from what i hear.... and that red car that looks like a 3000GT is fuckin badass! for all the other cars... one word, FUGLY! lol.. just my 2 cents

they are all supposed to look like the Silhouette cars from the 80's that raced in japan.. and they do. but the actual race cars had a little more R&D into them..
1986 Civic Si; b16a is in.. just gotta get it running..
