you just better hope he has a job and teh court will allow garnishment of wages. You ever heard the phrase "you cant squeeze blood out of a turnip"?
Youll get nothing from this assface if you dont take him to court. Either get a lawyer or figure out how to do it on your own.

just got my estimates done, and i they are both more thean the blue book value of my car. but since it is old enoug to call a classic, that might help me out some. first estimate was $2153.o6 and the second was $1854.37.. i got all the kids info, but he never showed up at the police station to give it to them, so he is gettin charged with a hit and run. the police report says that it is his fault, plus he is gettin charged witha a hit and run, that should make it a little easier to get my money.

no insurance, and if i turn it in on mine my rates will jump to bout $450 a month
If it was 100% his fault, why would YOUR insurance go up??? That's what insurance is for.
Depending on the insurance, a claim is a claim, is a claim

The entire tool selection at Sears or the contents of a Snap-On truck will do you no good if you do not know how to use them.

insurance sucks. you pay them lots of money just in case something happens then when something does happen they ask for more money. wtf.
Yeah but in Texas you can get a $50,000 bond and don't have to have insurance legally. It's self insurance.

I can some what empathise with you but in my case I was the stupid redneck. See I too have a lifted blazer.
When I moved back to where my father lives the day of the move I had just hauled most of the big furniture in my blazer and my friends truck. My father had come from his house up to mine and parked next to my blazer. He came in and said I should back the blazer up to the porch to unload it. So I jumped into my truck made a hard right turn and the back of the truck started to rise up. and I heard a bending sound. Well I thought I ran over the septic tank thing but to my suprise I had started to drive up the side of my dad's 87 subaru. I ran in the house (a little worried what was next() I told my friend as I went in the house I drove over dads car. He laughed and said what ever. But As he rounded the corner I could hear him say OH MY GOD!! HOLY S#!T! My next comment to dad was "I'm Back." He wasn't that mad I couldnt beleive it.

"GUTS" is arriving home late after a night out with the guys, being assaulted by your wife with a broom, and having the guts to say, "Are you still cleaning or are you flying somewhere?"

i agree that rednecking can be fun. i myself used to have a jacked up 84 chevy truck. but i knew how to adjust my mirors for driving in town, i knew where my blind spots were. this was acctually just a case of some idiotic CITY-SLICKER thinkin he is cool cuz he owns a jacked up blazer. i dont know where the kid got his license but the person that gave it to him should be shot!! exapmle, earlier in the night i was driving next to a late '90's chevy that was tall enough that i parked my car ALL THE WAY under it(well i pulled in under the door & the passenger jumped outta the truck into my sunroof). and the driver was a chick!! she never even came close to running me over.you know why? cuz she new how to adjust her mirrors, and she knew where her blind spot were.
