Another question... One thing I didn't care for about the b series swap is the need to track down a Jack shaft. Will a k series need one? Also is this using the 1g integra hubs I guess?

I was of the understanding that uneqaul length axles promoted torque steer, so having equal length axles via the jack or intermediate shaft was a good thing.

That said, I'd assume jourdaine is using the generic rather than a year  specific jack shaft.  Pretty sure its integra hubs as well - there are only two options and the teg size is more ubiquitus

Time to update the build. I broke down and decided to use some different mounts. This time out of billet aluminum. I will have 15 sets in stock for sale. $500 for the 4 mounts for those asking about price.

Here are the test photos of fitment on the k24 trans. The k20 trans being different and receiving the aluminum base mount.

Next update: Rear Trans Bracket

In order to make this the best swap possible swap I want to make the kit a 4 mount setup. I was able to make a two piece rear bracket. Made from mild steel on the plasma then weld it together. This will work with the stock rear bracket or my aluminum rear mount.

This is seriously making me reconsider the engine I already had in my garage for my next build!  Such sexy looking parts!

For those asking about clearance here are some photos regarding that. Some of the hood had to be removed for the best clearance and I am running my hood spacers. I wanted it off the ground as much as I could without cutting a hole through the hood. Its kind of a reverse ZC cut.

7.5" of total ground clearance from the oil pan to the ground on a stock height car. Which is actually just as good as my H series swap and about the same as the B series swaps.

Last update of the night.

The passenger side aluminum mount has been tested and mounting bracket also tested. Originally it was supposed to be a steel mount only but after installing the old one a few times I figured it would be best if we made it a two piece aluminum and steel mount. Far easier to work with. I used flat head screws not to interfere with any of the other parts of the mount. I also welded the studs into the mount for quick install of the aluminum mount.

I also finished off the rear mount which needed to be welded.

Amazing and what's more amazing is I can sorce this mount kit in the UK (supreme race parts) any details on drive shafts etc etc

Got a b series in my car atm and because I rewired the entire car with a eg6 loom the wiring would be a simple case of getting a conversion harness for a eg and job done got told some mounts are coming with the next shipment and I'm really tempted to get some for future development on my build just the drive shafts holding me back

Do I understand this to mean you can make the center section of the axles and they could then be built from k inners and integra outers? If so that's awesome!
