Making small progress still. Picked a spare 88/89 Blacktop. Had to bore .020 over. Picked up a few more parts for it.

As well know, oil pumps are none existent for the D16a1/ZCs. So I started doing research, which still continues. What I found it 90% or so of the 88/89 A1/ZC pumps share components with the later SOHC A6 pumps. All of the plugs, the spring, valve, seal, and rear cover.

Here is the oil rear cover.

And the new aftermarket rear cover.

I still trying to locate new rotors, which will probably not happen, and port and polish the pump.

Don't know if this will be of help but it is a comparison of oil pumps. Don't have my car anymore so am out of touch a bit.  Depending on the block the pump may leak if you get the wrong one. I know these are not ZC but may be similar. The mating surface along the lines in the picture are different. JS

Thank you. The 86/89 Integra ZCs share the same pump as the same year A1s. Both of these pumps share the same rotors. I followed this build. It where I got the idea to check different year pumps for compatible parts.
