so they don't work on an EW1? that sucks
One time Krazy Davek said his foot hurt. So he glocked it. Then he glocked his other foot just because he thought it was going to snitch, he asked it if it was and it said no, so he glocked it not only because it was going to snitch but also because it lied. When he isn't driving his 3 door 3 speed 3 cylinder geo metro with 20" spinners, he's driving his freestyle motox bike with 20" spinner dirtbike wheels in downtown NYC.

It should work on any EW engine. They will fit 84-87 Civic/CRX, 86-89 Integra, and SOHC F22 engined Accords and Preludes.

Cam gears are very easy to find for the EW D15A3 engine as it uses the same cam gear as the USDM 1990 Accord.
Once the cam gear is sourced, what do you do with it? I know that if you shave down the head on the D15A3 for higher compression, you need to advance the cam timing 2-3 degrees to get it back to "stock."
What do you do with a head that has not been shaved? What is the effect of advancing cam timing about 3 degrees? My observation is that you lose a bit of low end torque for more high end power. But should you advance the cam timing and return the ignition timing to stock? Or should you let the ignition timing stay advanced along with the cam timing?
There are a lot of guys who advocate advancing ignition timing as much as possible without "knocking," But I think that makes your daily driver a bit of a dog on the street. The advanced timing helps at 4k rpm and higher, but with stop and go street driving the loss of low end "umph" is unacceptible.
My '87 Si seems to be the best overall when the cam and ignition timing are at stock. On race days, I advance the cam timing 3 degrees (a very simple procedure) and let the ignition timing advance move into advance with the cam.

wow...never thought i'd see someone trying to turn a profit here. those gears are $60 on ebay. why would i buy them from you?
remember?
you should be asking 50$ tops, and you'd probably still make some dough.

I'd be more worried about my pistons and valves than the bolts themselves...
I'd rather spend the same amount of money to buy a pair of AEM gears from Summit or Jeg's. Nothing personal, but I'm just more comfortable ordering parts from a huge mail-order company than some guy on a message board's friend.

i'd buy one if they're $50 a peice and it won't crap up my engine

You can buy AEM for more, I don't even have the gears
Just seeing if anyone wanted any!
I can't find them on e-bay?
A guy was getting rid of them so I was going to sell to you guys.
