well not to jump on the band wagon or anything, but im a newb n i still thought that was very wrong to say... but on another note... i have never been to a drag race b4 so i was wondering if u guys could tell me whut a tech is? so far i got that they look at ur car n if its not fallowed by the rules they wont let u race? so like if u have a completly stock car would they let u race? and one day i would like to go to the drags, and i know our cars are slow but i always hear how fun is it, but i was wondering if most of the people their are dicks about it and make fun of ur 20 sec car? cause if so i would rather not go, i know our cars are slow but i like em like that, its funny coming up beside a nice talon at the lights and asking em if they wanna have a good laugh at racing ur car, or asking if they could give ya a good 2 second head start and still waste ya, its all in good fun

well i say watch a few or ( 1 like me )and then try to race it, if you have the attitude of im just going for fun then its great if you are thinking of beating someone your hopes are going to get shot unless by luck your oppoinent brakes down. i had fun i endded up racing a jetta 2 times same one. so it was fun to compair my car against his and see what was better i actually had a better rt then him the second time.
the tech: yes you can race a stock car i did. well its a check of your car to see if its safe to drive and that things are tied down right. i had a sub in the back and had to take it out so have nothing in the car is the best thing. and just act cool. i didn't fine i was buged about my 20 year old car mind you sometimes the anouncesr makes a joke but its all for fun. i found that people were more into seeing what a 3gen looks like then moking it, theres slower cars then ours some times like a echo it did 20 something and then you have your farm trucks slow as a snail. its just about having fun. if you wont to go fast get a dragster and run 6.5 secs. if you wont to have fun get a 3gen or 1gen.
