so i finally got done moving out of the inlaws house and am back out on my own. so i decided the other day that the crx finally needed to be fixed
i told my wife that i will not be driving it until i am done with it this time. so i started tearing it down for the building process and keeping everything updated as much as possible.
the car:
i got the front end all torn apart today and will be replacing the core support, fenders, nose panel, hood, bumper, and drivers side door with parts from the 87 hf parts car i stripped for 20 bucks
im not sure what direction this car will be going, but i cant wait for it to transform and be able to see my progress. tell me what you guys think i should do with it.

Now is the time to decide what YOU want this car to be. Street car or Race car? Street cars make lousy race cars, race cars make lousy street cars.
The HF is the lightest Honda made since the days of the 600, it is a great basis for a race car.
I suggest going full race: Source a K series and start building.

Is the hood off becsue the motor is too tall? I remeber seeing the other 3rd gen civic with a k-series, and it had to cut a hole in the hood to be able to close the hood.
but you know what they say... "Maaaaan, hoods are fo' suckas!"

3G/1G's can't be lowered too much if they have a K in them (that does not have a dry sump) b/c the motor is very tall and the oil pan is close to the ground. That is probably why this one is not lowered at all.
