Hey all my name is Nick this is my first post and my second 3rd gen. i have been sitting on this car for about two years, it runs and drives fine, i did a devac and cleaned the carb really well, but I've really just been tinkering a bit here and there. So today i decided it's time to get crackin and i started tearing things down. So i have a bit of rust repair ahead of me but i am fairly well equipped to handle that as far as welding and cutting but I will just be doing all shaping by hand with hammers. I also have a donor 92 integra that I'm going to be tearing down for its b series engine and all the accompanying goodies. unfortunately its an auto but i found a cable trans locally for a good price which brings me to my first question, should i be using a cable trans or a hydro trans with a cable conversion mechanism on it? next question, will the torsion bars be ok or is it possible to put updated suspension up front? I am a pretty good fabricator but I don't know a lot about suspension geometry and design (yet)! I have some pictures but they're huge so I'll need to resize them I think before I post them but i will be taking a lot during the build and trying to stay active on here like i have been telling myself i would for years but it has always been in the past that i would end up in a huge rush and not have time for anything else but I really want this build to come out right so i will be taking my time with it.

Welcome! See you've been a member for awhile so great that you're starting a project build. I look forward to following your progress. There's a great deal of info here about B swaps...unfortunately most with broken picture links...as you most likely have already found out. Members with B swap experience will likely chime in with needed help. Take your time, do it right the first time and enjoy the process! Best of luck with it.

Gonna be watching also. Lot less traffic than there used to be but great stuff on here still. Posting pics can be tricky because of photobucket but it is doable. good look with the swap.

today i got my ls motor home after 3 day wrenchfest / episode of desruction in which i shattered one toilet bowl and sawzalled many pieces of 93 integra, still towing a crusty ass automatic due to one stripped bellhousing bolt. i also had deivered to me at work via craigslist dude a ls manual cable trans, aluminum flywheel, pressure plate which i am resurfacing and replacing the disc (sprung 6 puck?) difference  sprung/unsprung? i have had only sprung in the past, liked it tho no complaint but idk if im just missing out... ? more pics soon rain predicted. link to google image folder https://photos.app.g...2hKQcPW20EjFM33

working?

more soon oh yea can i use mounts from an ef or must they b hasport/innovative? axles and hubs. will anything else interchange stock or light fab to improve front end performance or will  more custom setup be necessary? I have severalll other projects currently leaching my time jeep/vette of brother which needs carpet and interior installed. I am hoping that this car will be fast as hell I am also going to pick up a complete b series turbo kit with socketed ecu but i was considering p28 or p72 with a moates diablo emulator I will be using the obd1 harness off the 93 for efi control and considering its status as an automatic there were some extra wires and plugs which I thought could save some time for me to run water/meth injection control.

I will also be tearing down the motor for rebuild and if the bore/bearing clearances are within spec, to try and get away with a simple honing or light overbore of maybe half a mil because I don't want to sacrifice any block strength for minimal gains in displacement for what I have a turbo for that. Also I have a full set of pistons and rods for a d series and a d16 nonV (y7 I think) that I will trade for a b series setup. Is anyone there? Welcome my two friends ^^? I need b series adj timing gears give me b series everything maybe I need /will buy some

goodnight ill be back soon

Glad to see another another build taking shape on the site. Red Interior?

B-series swap is pretty straight forward, but you will need a few parts. 86/89 Integra hubs and shift linkage to start. The aftermarket that supports the B swap requires the Integra hubs. The shift linkage will be modified to fit correctly.

Cable trans will be the easiest and simplest swap, zero mods.

Suspension is based on budget and what you want.

You can use 4wd wagon and Integras torsions to give you a slightly firmer ride. Or you can go to Heeltoeauto.com and pick you a set of aftermarket bars in various diameters.

Dampeners are sort of limited, but still some good options out there.

Konis are the rarest and possibly the most sought after. Blistein and Tokicos both offer an option. Then there is the Teins, which a complete kits also offered through Heel Toe.

Chedda Auto supplies some aftermarket parts as well. You can find some of his stuff in the vendor section.

dreadful weather the last few days unfortunately and though I had planned on wrenching after a brief half day due to snow and going to work on the current body mods/rust repair. Ihave fender lips and side skirts cut out and sanblasted along edges and will be welding new steel into place while making the flares slightly wider and more.. functional/rugged/whatever you want to call it. Icall it badass I think it will look cool and I am currently debating what I will do with the interior I am seriously considering gutting it fully with seats out of a wrx or similar and 6 point cage, with fabricated sheet aluminum door panels and rear side panels. and yes it is a red interior sinner do you have a need for red interior pieces? I will have no need for them truthfully since I will not be doing any factory resto on a 1/3 any time soon. I have inspected all turbo parts and will be picking them up this weekend with pics and taking pics of the body  state because the pics of it in the road are two years old

Stripping interior currently. Red interior up for grabs every piece must go and I don't want to trash it: trades anyone? I'm doing a full cage totally stripping it down and I will need some seats. Was looking for wrx seats or similar. Let me know what you have or need
