I also had a 1975 Honda Civic CVCC. My first car. Ported Canadian head, downdraft Weber, big cam, header, 2 inch exhaust, 4.93 final drive, shortened Konis, stiffer springs, sway bars, urethane bushings, steel flares, 13 x 7 wheels with B50 - 13 tires. I had just got it all dialed in.

Left it at a friends house to go to dinner. Came back and it was 25 feet up the street, sideways, with both rear wheels on the sidewalk. Someone in a Toyota truck hit it hard and totaled it. We know it was a Toyota because he left most of his grill and coolant behind.

I still want to cry.....

As one can see, the addiction is for life.

But my Dad had a 40 Ford Coupe with a flathead V8, manual trans, and a two speed rear end.

So I'm actually an innocent victim of genetics!

Well thank God for that, 'cause if I wasn't, this would probably have never worked.
