Thnx to Na-Spirit for mentioning RADwood Austin. 80/90s theme classic car show.

It looks like Na-Spirit, Monkeey and myself will be going to RADwood. Anyone else in?

Got my tickets today.  Sounds like 3 of us so far.  We'll post pix after the show.  One of those BAT CRX's was purchased by a Texas buyer - hoping it will show up.  Looking forward to digging out my 80's apparel.

 

Was hoping to get a ticket for my car.  wanted to put my 80's ski rack and skis on top.  I have the Rossie pencil skis identical to Booger's on "Better Off Dead".  I still ski w them

 

Austin's a cool ass town.

Na-Spirit got the word a few days ago. RADwood rescheduled April 23, saturday due to weather

Radwood got postponed to April 23.  

 

Monkeey and NA-Spirit weren't able to meet up.  So It was Skipps and I.   Sorry I didn't get my car entered to show.  I thought it had too much road wear to me respectable.   But she would have fit right in!  Especially since there were no 1g's.

 

 

 

 

Snuck up on the race track stands and got an arial.  This covers about 1/2 the cars there.

 

 

 

A nice 3G.  There was a wagavan,  but it left before I was able to circle back to take a pix.

Midget imports.  I have no idea what they are.

If I didn't have a crx, I'd be in one of these, or a Pulsar.   But there were ten of them.  So I'll stick w the 1G CRX.  Apparently more rare than I thought.

 

All and all a good time.  Show wasn't very long.  Some cars drove off early.  Only a handful of owners camped next to their cars.  So wasn't able to catch a lot of conversation.  Handful of "for sale" signs.    Most owners were off checking out the other cars.  got some T-shirts, met up w my daughter on campus.   Skipps (MadMax) drove the beater on his first serious highway trip from Austin back to Dallas.

You should have put yours in the show!  We are trying to get the swap done in mine in time to take it to The Honda Meet in CA this month. See if that happens.  Great pics,  I like those older MR2s as well.
