WOW it would be nice to convert to right hand drive and have a back seat but there is no way i can afford the shipping......

wouldn't it be great if we could throw a couple anchors over - pull the two continents together - just for a short bit - exchange heaps of parts and cars and then let the ropes go.... snap - back to reality....

Was the hatch in decent condition or was it starting to rust?

The hatch didn't seem too bad - I didn't look closely but didn't notice much rust. I'm not sure what the plan would be for it, depends on how bad it is if I get it and pull it apart, but it's good to know there is interest for parts smile.gif

Looks like parts buyers are out of luck as the auction's been ended early and it's no longer for sale (well, on ebay at least...)

Hi I am James in Melbourne Australia,

I am the guilty party. I added it to my Vintage Honda collection. I have a 1972 Honda N360, 1972 Honda Coupe 9s, 1977 Honda Civic 3 door Hatch (interior still in plastic!!!) and now the 1G CRX. I plan to race the car after restoration.......and some help from you guys.

The sunroof is rusted bad but the rest of the body is fine. It looked alot worse than it really is but I am a panel beater by trade so I guess that helps. Needs 2 front guards, headlight assembly is all over the place and thats pretty much it. It's a genuine JDM ZC car, imported here in 94. I actually drove it home on a trade plate for 40km and it went quite well. Parts can be tricky for these here in Australia so I am relying on you guys to give me a hand!

I noticed BANDIT had a new sunroof panel............Where from and how much mate?

Also I see some guys running a 1 piece hood in carbon fibre.............I might want one of those too how do I get one?!?!?

Great site you have here, pictures below.

James

Phone dials are yours if you like. I was going to ask if you wanted them after reading earlier posts. I sell trucks for a job so I can get cheap freight on parts too. PM me to work out a deal!!

Thanks for the welcome!

I really want to find out about these 1 piece Carbonfibre hoods too................anybody? See below...........

Welcome, good to see more Melbourne members. Very nice coupe 9.
MrDisibilty sells the hood you want.

If you do decide to keep the pop up lights I may have a spare centre panel for them, if you get rid of them I'll buy them.
I have a CR-X parts car with a lot of parts I don't need. I have a spare front lip which I notice you need, PM me if you need anything.

What kind of racing do you plan on doing?
Good luck with the restoration.

James from Melbourne

Damn I've been flat out with work and was devastated when I got a chance to check on the auction to find it had disappeared from under me, but now I am just relieved to see it's gone to a good home smile.gif

I'm glad it's not going to be parted out, but if you ever want to strip it out to race it, the carpet and rear seat are in much better condition than mine and I would love to take them off your hands.

The sunroof panel will be fun! (I thought mine was bad...)

...am I allowed to ask how much? (pm me if you want, just round it up a bit so it's not too upsetting).
