We'll be using whatever header panel(s) Keith comes up with to let Adam mold. I can't remember which one he said he had, but we have at least one to work with.

If anyone has wondered how hard it really is to come up with these parts, you should have traded places with me in the past couple of months. Its been damned near impossible.

Which is why getting these molds made is so important.

Still looking for lower door skins BTW.

I dropped off a mixture of header panels pieces with Adam, that include both '84-'85 and '86-'87. Adam sounds as though he should be able to have the early tabs, though cutting ones-own square hole for the snap-in screw piece may be necessary. '86-'87 people won't need the 2 "tabs" to hold the headlight surrounds.

I told Adam I would be shipping him 2 door bottoms. As I recall, one is early and one is late. From my standpoint, the late style should be the only one needed, this they can be compatible.

yeh, the later style is the only one compatible with all 1g's because it has the rectangular recess for the si molding clips... the earlier models have corcular recess' that the si clips wont fit in... what side is the later model you dropped off for? i might have the other side.. i think mine is passenger

i have both si rocker panels, several door panels, although i dont have a drivers side "si" style door panel... i have an aftermarket header panel. im in jacksonville, would be willing to deliver my parts for some "prototypes"? btw, what about fenders?

I don't have any panels, but I need some and I am only about 50 miles from Atlanta. Let me know if he molds some, I need them and will be glad to come and pick them up!!

I am making a return trip to the Greenville, SC area, and I am taking a LH side skirt, 2 door bottoms, and 2 fenders with me to be molded. I will leave them with my son, though I am looking for a volunteer to get them from Greenville to Conyers, GA (24 miles east of downtown Atlanta, just off I20). Anybody nearby or passing through the area soon? My son won't really have room to store these for very long.

Thanks,

Keith

I am currently in Greenville, SC, with plastic panels to try to get to Conyers, GA for use as molds. Anybody in/near Greenville who I can drop these off with?

I could drop them off in Charlotte, NC, but I hoped for someone closer to Conyers.

Thanks,

Keith

I will be taking delivery off these plastics this weekend, and storing them safely at my in-laws. I need someone to take them the rest of the way.

Anyone? Mucho-important RPR work going on here.

Yeah. Seriously.

The hard parts of the adventure are done. We just need to get the parts in the hands of the fabricator (who is excited about doing the work by the way).

Keith and I discussed shipping them, but given the size and the fragile nature of original plastics its just too risky and expensive. So we need to find some underground express help.

I'm in the wrong part of the country.

OG Wagon has the driver's side rocker panel cover ('86-87 Si), 2 door bottoms, and 2 front fenders. There is a possible plan for getting them down to Conyers, GA (though maybe not the fenders...)

The header panels are in Conyers, already.

Should be happening next week, if all goes well.

I didn't think there was all that much demand for rockers compared to crx fenders... if you were making molds of those, I'd say put in a little mugen flare- I'd buy a set

For sure! You can get the front fenders and nose panel off ebay all day long
for $100 each. But the door pieces and rocker panels there is no reason to
even look unless you are willing to buy the entire car.

Zak, I think the guy that started this thread may disagree with you on this. That's the primary thing that he's been looking for for some time now.

With THANKS to bamcrxgp and OG Wagon, the remaining plastic parts are soon to be on the last "leg" of the trip to Conyers, GA.
