The last run of 86-87 si fenders seems to be over.84-85 fenders don't seem to have been produced in some time. You may be hosed. Stock used (uncracked) fenders are unicorns. If I'm able to repair my 84's fronts I may sell my set of 86 si fenders. They are new aftermarket units.

84 to 87 fenders are identical. Except the 86/87si's have a hole near the mudflap for the side sill garnish to attach. Other than that, no other difference.

I'm only aware of 2 types of fenders. 1) OEM's, which are very, very hard to come by. and 2) aftermarket, all seem to come from same mold in taiwan. I think a good price for aftermarkets are less than $100. Basically, look on rockauto, autousa and others and see what's cheapest.

I'll pull my data when I bought last january/feb and post here shortly. I think someone else got a good deal on some but forgot who they bought. The guy on ebay sells the same aftermarket brand. But the $60 shipping is a rip-off and drives your fender to near $150.

More to come. But I'm sure others have got more recent data for you.

Best Dave

I pulled my receipt. I got 2 fenders and a header (aftermarket) back in March for ~350 shipped. So it averaged $90 per part and $80 for shipping. Got it from autobodyparts.com. Now the internet price was more, but when I called, they dropped the price for me. I guess the economy is hitting them also. 888 251-1209.

So I'm convinced all aftermarket fenders/headers are from the same mold. So call several and pick the best price.

p/n 1382-1 for RH fender, 1382-2 LH fender, 1382-3 for header panel. Google these and pick your best price.

Good luck

Let it be known. I plan on selling this fender to the original poster. i have arranged to have it transported by family to jackson GA for the OP to pick up on Wed or Thurs.

90 USD as agreed, i am posting all info about the sale in your thread so that there is no confusion, or discrepancy about its condition.

there are no cracks at all in the main body of the fender.the main bolt strip along the top doesnt have any breaks, but the tab closest to the windshield (the one a screw not a bolt goes in) is broken, but not completely gone.

the fender itself is somewhat tweaked and should be left in the sun prior to installation, and may require some massaging with a heat gun. this is a USED fender and sold AS IS. (thats just covermyass speak for you get exactly what i described)

If you want more body parts I have both bumpers, fenders, rockers, a hood, & 2 header panels (I'll have to revisit any cracks whatever on the header panels). My car got the Houseman/Mugen body and all this stuff is sitting in my storage shed awaiting new life on another car. Parts are ALL off my black '86 CRX Si. I'm pretty sure the fenders are crack-free. The car has been a garage-queen since 1997, and I believe the fenders are still crack-free. EMAIL tj[dot]schmidt[at]comcast[dot]net

Has both the fenders and header panel as of a couple of weeks ago.

If you guys pick up some new aftermarkets, please post the price and supplier for the rest of us if you don't mind?? It seems like the lowest price supplier isn't always the same one
