I have one of the Honda Accessory Overhead Consoles for 3G Civics For Sale.

It mounts on the headliner, and spans the distance from the rear view mirror mount to the factory dome light location.
It has four spotlights, two for the front seat passengers and two for the rear seat passengers, a small storage area, and a clip for cards or paper.

Does the overhead console also fit the CRX? Or just the Civic? Does anyone know?

Does anyone have the accessory sheet that shows the Honda factory part number?

Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you my RPR Brothers.

Well thank God for that, 'cause if I wasn't, this would probably have never worked.

Thats for the gen II Civic as an option, the overhead consel wasnt for our gen III's. The way the CRX roof is shapped I really doubt it fits either. Nice find regaurdless but I doubt it will work in these cars.

It came out of a 1984 Civic S, and it fit perfectly.
I am pretty sure it is for our cars.

I remember this as an optional accessory from the 1980s when I was an Assistant Service Manager for Honda.
I don't ever remember installing one at any of the dealers I worked at.

Here are photos of the overhead console mounted in a 1984 Civic.

WTF? I have the 84 Honda Accessory catolog and its not even mentioned in there. As far as I knew it was a gen II Civic option, not gen III.

Those aren't vents.
They are four small spotlights.
Two for the front, and two for the back.

A console was already installed in my 87 CRX HF when I bought it, it looks OK but it doesn't fit flush with the ceiling at the very back. I have no idea what it was pulled out of.

This console fits perfectly and lines up with the rear view mirror and the dome light.

the jdm and probably edm crx had an option for vents in a roof console. like a fresh air line, it had a scoop in the roof that was retractable

Bubba your console is out of a 98 blazer (one pocket for cds, one for glasses, one for a garage door opener and a compass)
