ah might i add that the rhb5 turbo is probably the fastest spooling turbo for your application
I say get ur tubing taken care of get the rhb5 mounted ect. get a $30 intercooler from ebay hook that up and enjoy 8-10ish lbs of boost heaven with almost no lag and possibly 80ish hp gain
not to mention platinum plugs, good wires and some kind of ignition box wouldnt hurt
its easier than you think I come from the Subaru world where everything is way more complicated thn it seems but the difference between subies and civics is HOODSPACE!!!

I'm just curious why you need an FMU and a rising rate regulator?

Don't they do the same thing. dry.gif

I thought the FMU took place of your stock FPR. blink.gif

Am I missing something?

I too want to turbo my car but I will use eagle talon injectors.

no fmu does not replace fpr, they are SEPORATE things.

An FMU is slang for a rising rate fuel pressure regulator.
Do you mean Fuel Management like in a S-AFC or a programable ECU?

You're joking right? laugh.gif

FMU... isn't it fuel management unit?
FPR... fuel pressure regulator

FMU increases the fuel pressure a given amount for a given amount of boost.
just like the rising rate FPR.

The FMU though, increases fuel pressure by 5, 10, or 12psi per 1 psi of boost, depending on the model
While the FPR increases it 1 to 1 meaning 1 psi fuel pressure for 1 psi boost.

Am I right? blink.gif rolleyes.gif

all cars have fuel pressure regulators, and a fmu is a fpr, but everyone gives it the fancy name of fuel management unit. all the turbo kits you buy say its a "FMU", which is a riseing rate fuel pressure regulator. they both do the same thing and you can use both at the same time, only difference being is that the riseing rate fpr "FMU" increases pressure as boost incures through a vacume source from the turbo. a "FMU" can really be anything (safc, ghettodyne, hondata, whatever) but generally i believe its ment as a riseing rate fuel pressure regulator.
