I know boman has painted his with some stained glass enamel type stuff? Im not sure but I thought I also saw somewhere someone had open them up like headlights and painted the inside of them orange like doing a black headlight mod. I think im going to try the stained enamel on mine though. The 88 tailights are a lot thinner than 84-87, would require too much modification for me just to have 88's. I love my stock lights... biggrin.gif

where'd you get the paint?
One time Krazy Davek said his foot hurt. So he glocked it. Then he glocked his other foot just because he thought it was going to snitch, he asked it if it was and it said no, so he glocked it not only because it was going to snitch but also because it lied. When he isn't driving his 3 door 3 speed 3 cylinder geo metro with 20" spinners, he's driving his freestyle motox bike with 20" spinner dirtbike wheels in downtown NYC.

pwr_crx,
WOW! Much better than the purple colored OEM lights.

They look great.

I got the paint from canadian tire, cost me like 6-8 bucks. A few coats of it and a clear coat got it lookin pretty good.

That's too far to drive. smile.gif

Is it an automotive paint, of a craft type stained glass paint? I will see if my wife has seen this paint in one of the craft stores she frequents.

Boy those corners look nice.

Krylon stained glass paint:

-Translucent paint
-Indoor/outdoor use
-bottles, jars, candles, ornaments

Just your typical craft stained glass paint. The color is yellow, but it sure turned into a nice amber after a few coats.
