i know a machine shop that would fab some up no problem. It would have to be a group buy. Id say 10 ppl. I need some diagrams and exact specs tho.

Ya theres some specs but NO pictures. I need like a good drawn or Photoshop or CADD one. Well i was thinking, mild steel is cheap, prolly 50 bucks a set. Hopefully. Let me give them a call right now and ask them.

Reading from the last couple posts, it looks like there is only one locking plate. I need a good drawing to get an estimate.

At one point on one of these threads I had offered to have them manufactured. Threw some figures around for cost as I was going to have them laser cut, professionally welded and powder coated. Then I got the flames as they were too expensive and that I didn't have the groups best interest in mind so I basically said, I'm outta here. Let someone else do it.

I did put in a small percentage in for my time and all the running around and gas expenses. But I guess we are to do all this for free for everyone. There comes a point when one or two favours is OK but the logistics and the time and effort have to have a price on it. We all have other lives and are busy.

There is my 2 cents and my rant about doing these things. If I do anything like this again a word to the wise. It will be money up front in a group buy. When the particular item is built then if someone begs out they forfeit their deposit. Unfortunately sometimes one has to take a bit of a harsh stance on their investment. Everyone wants but in the end only a few are really ready to commit. JS

If you want one of these Logos send me a PM

My issue with this is that if I post the design, and someone sells them and makes profit, why shouldn't I get a cut for designing it?

I design things for a living, I don't give my stuff to others to make money from.

I could post a drawing for it, but if someone was to start making them and selling them for profit I would be more than a little upset.

Can you see my point?

It's a simple design, use your imagination. You have to stop the internal rear axle torsion bar from moving. You have 2 options, weld it or make a plate to stop it. Figure it out........I did smile.gif

PS......search my gallery if you plan to make one for personal use
