...I tried this before with LITTLE luck. Anyone have one of these and you WANT to sell it Please let me know.
I would need it shipped to the SF Bay Area. Thanks.

Update 3/26/09
Well I'm getting close to a design that looks pretty good with the 3G's shape.
Looks like the OEM one but bigger, more kick and a little more rounded.
Stay tuned......

Nah, we tried this, I did it his way, and it was destroyed in transit. Now currently attempting to retrieve the insurance claim.

The entire tool selection at Sears or the contents of a Snap-On truck will do you no good if you do not know how to use them.

Who did you use. I have shipped two mint condition spoilers and both were recieved as they left. Plus I also bubble wrapped the hell out of it plus put some other stuff.

My understanding is that BP was going to package it very carefully, but was told by the buyer do package it differently. BP, I think was reluctant to package it that way but did anyway do to the buyer's insistence resulting in the damage while getting shipped. I don't know for sure the reason the buyer wanted it different but suspect it was the price of shipping at properly packaged one.

Well let's see here....
The box the shipper was going to use was 45x24x19" and weighed in at 38 pounds it was like a little coffin. The shipping was going to be over 100 plus Dollars. It has a rubber shell and is metal backed, you know a spoiler. I think it had some poly foam from TAP plastic, bubble wrap and maybe even peanuts. Am I the only one hear that shouts out over kill??? I have over 200 +++ feedback on eBay. I've shipped auto parts like gauge clusters, intercoolers, shocks, but mostly vintage Home Audio like LINN, Marantz, Rotel to destinations all over the world without any incedents. Knock on wood.
The spoiler has no parts that can break, crack. The only thing that can effect it is if the packaging burst into flames or got ran over with the delivery truck as it left my house.....And mind you no box, foam, tape etc,etc would prevent that.
I simply stated to wrap it with couple of layers of bubble wrap, then to go over the corners with more bubble wrap and then use some of the more sturdy cardboad from some LCD or Plasma tv boxes to back it into a nice make ship box around it with emphisis on the corners. That would have brought the shipping down to $35-40. I'm not knocking the shipper here. It's nice to see some one that takes pride in the way they do business....I'm the same way. I do the same when I ship my items, however I know when to draw the line because no amount of packaging will prevent damage, that lies in the hands of the carrier.
With that said anyone have a 3G spoiler for sale???

I never received it. I never saw this so called damage.
If I cannot find an original I'm going to make one out of carbon fiber or kevlar. I already made template of a design I like.

So if someone has or know's someone who has a spoiler for sale let me know.
