Well finnaly the time has come to build up my dream car. An EG Civic hatchback.
The car of chioce: A 1992 Honda Civic DX hatchback in 5 speedf trim, blue interior, 320000kms, relativley stock. white exterior of course.
The car has a few flaws. First off the engine has 320000kms and burns oil bad. Oh no Time for a new engine. Too bad, so sad.

The car came with a few mods. MSD wires, K&N drop in, OBX muffler, Clarion CD player and 2 CSA mag wheels. It also has nice aftermarket speakers. All these mods are uselesss and will be soon for sale.

The interior of the car was disgusting. The exterior has some small damage. The car will be repainted, stock color of course.
On with the pics.

Here is the car as I got it. It was disgusting.
There was an old rotting banana peel along with a couple dozen dead fruit flies which made the car reek like shit. Yuck.



The first thing I did was strip the interior. The seats and carpet are garabage. I found about $4 in change. Yay



The interior, engine bay was degreased and pressure washed. Here it is after the pressure washing. I think I might have a small water leak. hahaha

Here it is after removing the majority of the water. The engine bay turned out nice. Next step is to remove the engine.


Plans:
A 94+ Integra parts car is next, in either GSR or non vtec trim, 5 speed.
Integra brakes, suspension, dash, tranny and engine will all be swapped over. An autopower rollcage will be bolted in, along with a set of racing seats and 5 point harnesses. Suspension is still undecided. Turbo setup will be a Holset HY35 or HX35 on stock internals for now. Shooting for low 300whp and high 11s.

sweet car CRXdan buying a EG hatch is definetly the way to go. I just bought a black four door EG it was thrashed at first too. Good luck on the build.

Im probabaly gona save my coins and buy a Acura 1.6EL when im done this. Black exterior, black leather interior + boosted d16y8= awesome daily driver. hmmmmm

you say its a dx but it has a sun roof . i thought only the si had sun roofs. dont use the y8 use the z6.

Honda civics came with a dealer installed sunroof.
I am using a b series in this car.
I am saying If I got a acura 1.6EL i wodul boost the stock engine as a daily driver.
and ill use whatever engine I want. ,
