I have used the rage gold on the last few cars I've painted, no problems yet, and pretty cheap.

I am pretty big in to r/c cars, and ran across them a while back, abc hobby has some sweet older japanese car bodies. The have some cool datsuns too. The crx is on my list, just be busy working on the real thing. Where did you order it from? I just built a room over my garage to put all the stuff I have accumulated, still have a lot of sorting to do.

I'd be interested in si sideskirts, both sides, a few cracks are ok, I would have to fix the standard ones I have now anyway.

I am betting on a ground issue as well, or the amp is toast. Make sure the paint is sanded down, and the terminal is touching clean metal as others have said. Another thing to check is the impedence the amp is seeing. If they are both 4 ohm speakers, and you have them parralled together, then trying to bridge the amp, it may be kicking the amp down from too much of a load. Those 6w0's can sound awesome. I worked at a jl dealer for several years and we did some killer sounding systems with them.
