If anyone want to inspect the "goods" check out my car.

Marcus' products are first rate.

Even if you have to skip a few meals you will want to take advantage of this opportunity.

Just my two cents...

The price Marcus wants for these hoods is really good. They should be selling for more like $500 each. So my advice is get them while you can.

I was able to keep the price kinda median. Recall teh hoods used to cost different based on if you got a short or non ZC hood. The only hood that didn't change in price is the long ZC which was always $375. The others all came up about $25-$50.

But part of the reason we don't charge mroe for the hoods now is because the shipping costs more too. Recall it used to be $125 and not it is $165. Just trying to keep things fair.

These SHOULDN'T be limited availability. We should be able to have them produced for while. So if you need time to save, you have time. Also note there is no minimum on these.

We are going to work on getting the wings made next (I have a good plug here, but is needs new molds sad.gif ). Then the Sunroof plug!

The hoods are first rate as Scott has said, I have one and will be buying another for the other crx.

Here is a dirty pic just to show the quality of the fit.

The hood fits perfect but my headlight was bent badly.

Aside from removing your old header panel, no major mods are really required. The long hood latches on the same way as the original metal hood. When you pull the latch release, you're able to reach up under the front edge of the new hood to release the latch the rest of the way. Some folks have added hood pins, but my hood doesn't wiggle at 80mph. Adjust your latch and the two rubber bumpers at the front hood corners (they screw into holes underneath the hood) to make sure the hood's nice and tight when it's closed.

You may want to do something to fill the gap at the bottom of the long hood, where the original header panel's black "grille" was. I dremeled off that portion of header panel and bolted it to the two mounting tabs above the bumper, inboard of the headlights. Unfortunately, it's now cracked and falling apart so I'll be doing something different. Maybe a black painted aluminum C-channel.

One other thing - I didn't feel like drilling holes to plug in the windshield sprayers, so I MacGyvered some little brackets to mount the nozzles on the cowling, underneath the aft edge of the hood.
