If you have a donor d15a3, why not swap over the complete motor?

It may couse problems with registration (engine number will change)

Now i research how to do swap legally in my country and gonna choose one of these ways

Yes, though compression ratio will be lower, since the D15A1 piston tops have more recess.

So it gonna work but with less power? 

 

It is a lot of work to convert it over to PGMFI - see if you can find a CDM cam from the PE3 head, put it in the Si head and retain your carb/manifolds and bolt it all back together?

But I don't want to retain carb

Hi there!

I hoping you can help me:

I have 3G civic with D15A1 (carb) in it and donor 3G civic with D15A3 (PGM-FI). 

Will it works if I swap D15A3 head (+manifolds, wires and fuel system) on D15A1 block?
