I have someone that has a catback exhaust for a 88 and up CRX. Will it work on my 87 SI. What parts off the 88 and ups are interchangable with my 87 SI.

I don't think any of them will fit with out some modification. You might want to explore a custom
set up from your local muffler shop, might be cheaper. Search, I believe there was a thread a
while back about custom setups.

Hope this helps

the two cars have different dimensions. the 88-91 is wider and longer. the 88-91 does not have the axle beam in the rear. the 88-91 etc. etc. etc. if you got the exhaust it might come close to fitting but the hump over the rear suspension will probably be in the wrong place. the length between the cat and the gas tank where the exhaust bends will be different. if you have access to a cutoff saw and a welder go for it, if not it will be easier and cheeper to get some custom exhaust bent for you.

It could be made to fit relatively easily. The shape is 99% bang on, just some of the lengths are different. I used the exhaust we built for an 87 Civic on my 95 Teg. Just had to lengthen it in the middle section and the cross section.
