you're confused somehow, it's ok. either you car runs a quicker quarter, or it doesn't actually go that fast.

any idea what is the fastest anyone has gotten a stock d16a1 crx in the 1/4? is it 15's ish?

My d16a1 with CAI, exhaust, header and mild cams ran a 15.09@90mph.
Stock d16a1's in 87 crxs run anywhere from 16.0 to 15.4 depending on driver, elevation, and 60 foot times.

so a simple $300 swap on a 1g crx, and your would keep up with civic si's? its kinda funny if u think about it seeing that si's are like 10gs used..lol
