Ok I was flipping thrugh a Road and Track and read that honda has said that the replacement for the nsx will not be alluminium and is going to be a hybrid. Now this sucks! It also whent on to say that they have no plans to continue the s2k and they have no replacement for it. You know if they get rid of these two cars then they dont have any thing of intrest to the racers out there and they must realy hate that boyracer image to completly kill off all of there good cars.
There's people that dont know and people that don't know they don't KNOW!!

I wouldn't call the NSX or the S2K boy-racer cars, that task falls to the SIR. The NSX & the S2K are more like mid-life crisis racer cars given the cost. biggrin.gif

Maybe they are putting all their engineering talent into designing the next CRX? Or maybe they are putting it all into beating Rossi...

Yea they are higher priced cars but they are the last of the true Hondas. The crx thing crossed my mind too and with the introduction of the new si which I am still out to lunch about. As for Rossi there is no beating a super human. He is the Shumacher of GP bikes and if Ferrari has there way he will be in there F1 car in 07. An all Italian world championship now that would be cool!

As for Honda not giving a damn about performance that was obvius when the started attacking all the web sites that had Honda in there web domain saying that it hurts there image but yet they have done a real good job with that just with the current line up they have. If you look at the quality of our cars and how well they have stood the test of time and then get in a new civic and its crap. And what happend to Mr. Hondas statement that as long as one of his cars are still on the road there will be parts for it. They shure as hell have not lived up to this one!

Just curious, but has Honda dropped their "Performance First" slogan?

I know, it's related to the motorcycle line but someone did mention Rossi.

If you love the Elise, drive a Se7en - Caterham or whatever...
It has even less content than the Elise, is less graceful looking
...and changes direction like a ping pong ball whacked by Thor.

A bit off topic, but according to my access logs, Honda legal visited my site about 6 months ago and probably checked it out for that same reason. I never heard anything from them, so I guess I passed. biggrin.gif

Well I don't blame them. It was an overweight, underpowered and ugly attempt to buy back some young drivers. It Didn't work.

I think the RSX is a really good car still and shows what Honda can do. I just wish we would get the best models they have to offer.
