Where do I begin! What a beautiful car and an amazing transformation from something that most of us would have scrapped  to an awesome example of a mugen crx! LOVE IT! you done an awesome job Alexander! :D

Watching this whole thread was like the book that you just can't put down,,,, you couldn't wait for the ending to see how it turned out but you also don't want it to finish because every step as so exciting !!!!

Made a daytime running lights, in this mode low and high light will turn on at half power.

Put power window from Mercedes. Now it works very quickly.

Thanks for the pictures. Let me see if I understand this correctly. Source the Mercedes electric motor. Cut off the original hand crank from the OEM CRX window mechanism. Build a bracket to hold the motor on the mechanism in same spot. 

 

Next is where I am not sure. Why did you cut off the half moon shaped gear on the end of the window mechanism? Are the teeth different than the Mercedes and you installed the Mercedes teeth or did you just shorten the winder mechanism?

 

AHA!!! I just took a much closer look. You cut off the half moon gear unit and then welded it onto the other side of the arm. Why was this required? Did it cause problems on the original mounting. Could you explain. Thanks again. JS

All right, I cut and welded the half moon from the other side. It might be necessary to fit motor.

I would like more info on the Mercedes window motors too. Ive seen some motors on ebay n they seen pretty easy to install.

I Wonder if This can be done to the civic Window regulador, el i was looking in ebay and found that these motors are from Mercedes e clase e320/430am i right?
