I have noticed that the front bumper (86-87) doesnt line up flush with the headlights or header panel, and the back bumper has sag in the corners and rear while it mounts flush to the car on the sides.
this car has been tapped; not hit in the rear sometime in its early life but only the bumper has been and there is no structural unibody damage underneath the cover and behind the bumper mounting. the front from what i can see has never been hit or tapped. so i straightened out the metal cover mounting bracket a little and the sag is still there and isnt quite flush around the sides and back.
Is this normal? heh.... i have thought up some ways of possibly correcting this but i was hoping to get some input from others on correcting this before i take it upon myself.
Thanks all.

It's called "butt sag" and no I have not found a cure, but our scientists are working on it day and night.

My dx also suffers from ass sag, have not come up with a solution other than a new bumper cover. I think it's actually heat set from being in the sun for so long. Maybe some time upside down with a heat gun will work.

ahh its all too common, reminds me of the bar girls.
thanks for all your input, i did some thinking and took off the bumper, i believe i am going to attempt to weld some peices onto the metal bumper underneath to create a better support for the sides and see how it turns out.
i cant stand looking at a saggy rear end...
its like making a bra... for a cars ass?!
