In Topic: That Just Happened... Triple Check Lug Nuts!

10 March 2014 - 08:59 AM

Thanks for the support guys! Everything is already fixed, and I am buying a torque wrench asap. I have always double checked my lugnuts after changing tires, but I didn't think that my car was soo light that the tire just spins on the dusty floor and doesn't allow for the correct tightening. On a side note, I just purchased some CV axles and i plan to install this week. Any issues with the install that I should look out for? Any strange things that can break? Thanks again!

Since you got me looking at the data... LOL

1st time taking my CRX to the track 1995 ran a 17.190 at 77.76mph

Last time 2003 ran a 13.527 at 98.46 mph

Those were the days... lol

wow! you started the year I was born! Really cool hearing about racing like that.

In Topic: Gas Tank Rusted Out. Where To Buy Or Will Civic Hatchback Tank Work?

23 December 2013 - 07:51 PM

WOW! Thanks sooo much to all of you! As you can see, I haven't been on for a month-ish, and I am glad I checked back in! I found the tank exactly as described and just love how people will help me out when I cant figure it out. Merry Christmas!

p.s. This probably sounds like blasphemy, but I might sell my crx si when I fix it up a bit. I live in wisconsin, near Appleton(if you know the name, you are "local"), and will be posting the craigslist ad in that section of craigslist. I will put in several hundred keywords, so finding the ad should be a piece of cake.
If anyone wants to know anything, message me!

Civic and CRX tanks are not interchangeable, period. I should know, as I needed a replacement for my Civic and tried a CRX tank that I got locally for free. Not even close in shape, and the connections don't work either.

Ok. But I looked at the pictures of both, and the "hatchback" tank looks like the crx tank. Not the civic 4 door. i am probably wrong, but thanks anyway!

I have a b16 on 20 psi in my 86 crx dx. Not many cars passing me. Lol

Wow! I have seen that engine on a YouTube video and it beat a Lamborghini! But of course, everyone with a crx has watched it, I'm sure!
