Hi, I would like to know if the alt in the wagon 4wd is the same as any 1.5 carb alternator? Or if it's different, will it fit? Or if you any any cheap alternator that will fit, let me know.
Thank you.

My Hollander shows Carb and Fuel Injection are different, but thats an exact interchange, they probably will swap over no problem, the difference is probably the amperage, the fuel injection one puts out more to run the computer and injectors and stuff.

Yes, they are interchangeable. The carb one is 55 amps and the FI one is 60 amps.

I have two for sale in the classifieds if you are looking.

I'm in Canada, a bit far. I'll probably have it rebuilded (costs 80$).
