That isn't more than buying new?

I'm going to swap to a 89 teg probably later next year, but until then I might as well

just run this 1.5 that's in there.

Ideas are:

1-  Just use the stock DX intake and a 32/36

2-  use a dual carb setup that I've had sitting for years. BUT, I have about 8 carbs.

Most are Webers, one set of DelOrto's, and a set of EMPI's (all 40's I believe)

NOW.. Unless I can find someone with a higher perfomance cam that's been 'sitting',

The cam will most likely be stock (maybe a cam gear and recurved dizzy)

So, does anyone know a reputable carb shop that can work on the dual side drafts that I won't

regret?

Back in the day, I had a set of Mikuni 40's on my 87 crx dx and it ran great (just don't remember

the mileage though..)

Thanks E

I gotta dig them out.

for some reason, I find things when i'm looking for something else.. (does that make sense?)

IOW, if im looking for my set of phone dial rims, i look for my Eibach springs. Then I find my sunroof's..

and on and on.

SO, you're going from SI to dual carbs?

Do you have a intake for them already? (if not, you may want to keep the FI 'til you find one) It took me a couple years to

find another one.

p.s.  Find a GOOD job. It's going to help lots.

What carbs are you looking at getting rebuilt?  DCOE Webers?  They are probably the easiest to work with, Mikunis second.

What intake manifold do you have for them?

For Mikuni's, http://www.wolfcreekracing.com/.

Going to Hawaii? You need a Dune Buggy.

WTB: 14x8 or 9" Panasports or Watanabe RS.

WTB: 3g Civic hatch gauge cowl, brown.

I've been gone a while, but if you're still looking for someone to go through a set of DCOE's, I'd do it, if you can understand that I work offshore and my schedule is whacked out.

The Carburetor Refactory in Richmond CA, they don't work on the stock carb though, Dave

Thanks Dave.

I'll google them.

They might not need "new" parts per-se, just a take apart and measure to check.

I might give it a go.

Got a little more courage since I made a good 32/36 run fantastic compared to what it was..

Still burning oil and maybe goofy to swap dual carbs at the beginning of winter, but hey I gots ta know if I can do it and get it straight.

Thanks guys.
