I have always made do with what is provided..... ie:

For regular sized drinks, wedging the cup between the seat and the e-brake works like a charm. Also, for Civic Hatches, the compartment on the passenger side is a good space as well.

For extra large drinks, I have wedged them between the side of the seat, the door, and the door handle. Works great, just don't forget its there before you open the door!

Cheers,
Mark

I bought this cup holder from Canadian Tire and screwed it on top of the center console in a civic , buy the rear Ash try, but it was a bitch to reach.
It was an old civic that my gril friend drove and she 'needed' a cup holder. dry.gif

Jimmy: What year is that out of? Is it a stock option (trim level upgrade) for the prelude? And did it bolt in or did you custom fab something?

Thats awesome, me wants!

Its aftermarket, www.husco.com
fits perfectly, you just screw into e-brake plastic.
arm rests slides back & forth, with a pull out cup holder.
they come in several colors, about $100 new, I got mine
from the junkyard, then order a new cusion for it
at husco for $16.

it is truly amazing how a simple thing as a cup holder can be made into a $125 novelty. True those are kick ass but damn!!! lets face it , those stock ones at the yard wont hold that 7-11 44 oz mini keg we all get. I have to admit though. You dont know u need it till u dont have it and i for one am tired of scorchin my nizzzuts.

Ok I have to say the prelude ones are cool, but... walmart is so cheap. And the offroad ones are so "bling bling" then theres the custom job thats a bit hary-no harm ment. And lets not froget about the "stick it where it fits" method.

Seems like this is a very important issue.

I think I'll go the walmart route, because after all I am a "cheap bastard".

no problem to small at redpepperracing.

I'm telling you guys, between the seat and the ebrake is where its at.

No more frozen/sweaty crotch, no more difficulty just to shift gears, no more worry about the cup flying out during spirited driving.

Try it, you won't be dissapaointed.

Cheers,
Mark

(Why the hell am I endorsing this so much?)
