I'm voting for McCain/Palin. He is the one who knows what to do with this war. No tree hugger will know the right way to run a country. Here comes the stones

No stones. If that is your top priority and you think your candidate is the best bet... then go for it. At least you are part of solution.
Let me ask you this question: Was Johnny Mac your first pick all along, or is he the best option left to you? Did adding Sarah help you make your decision?
For me, Obama had me at the 2004 Democratic convention. I remember pointing at my TV during that speech and declare, "I want to vote for THAT GUY."

Feeling comfortable about your ideas and your positions on the issues is what makes this country GREAT!!!
There isn't going to be any stones. I applaud you for voting!

Zak, I have more Republican friends than Democrat. Now, we fight a lot, but I still respect and care for them.
I do so wish the civility would come back. I'm not that old, but I can't remember a time when the country was so damn divided!
When my more liberal friends ask why I even give conservatives the time of day, this is what I tell them:
I can pick any Republican out of a crowd, sit down with him/her and ask that we write down the 100 most important things in our lives. The things that are really important to us like having good schools, clean parks, a home to live in, good healthy food at our tables, well equipped police and fire departments, you get the idea. When we compare our lists, we will always agree on 85 to 90 percent of the issues that are most important to us.
I just wish people in general would remember that we are all Americans, and we are more in agreement with each other than not.
My rant.

I ALWAYS Vote!
And I vote by mail like Scott.
I used to tell my students that you can vote while sitting on the toilet, so there is no excuse for not voting.
Also, if you don't vote, then you have absolutely no right to b*tch and complain.
I didn't vote for Bush either time, and I am b*tching and complaining every day.........

I am voting for Mr. McCain for the reason that David stated.
plus i like my bear arms the way they are i don't want to loose them with Mr. Obama's hidden gun ban agenda.
i have read many articles that state that no one knows exactly what Mr. Obama is trying to change about the 2nd, and i don't want to take even the slightest chance that it be taken away.
also i am pro-life so that is another - for Mr. Obama

I really liked Mccain in 2000. I feel now he is out of touch, bitter, too old and voted often (in his own words) with his party and Bush Jr. The final nail in his coffin for me was Palin. As a registered republican I think Obama is the lesser of the two evils. I would vote for Ron Paul, my 1st choice, but I think it would be a wasted vote since he hasn't got a chance. so I guess I'm voting against McCain, not for Obama. Say what you want, in the 90's under the Clinton administration, life was good for me. since Bush, things are tight. I'll be at the polls trying to change our country for the better I guess. I think it funny though how they make Obama to be a rich elitist since he was a lawyer (right?), but McCain has many times his wealth by marrying into it. I guess it shows he was smarter than me...........................

I believe if you cast a nonwinning vote, its just like not voting. You have the right to complain whether you vote or not, You are allowed to not like the state of the nation, and you have the right to not like the current administration. It wouldnt matter to me who won, as long as my voice is heard, as long as my neighbors voice is heard, as long as the peoples voice is heard. I want a representative that will listen, and do, I want a senator to do the same, I want a president, that cares more for my, and my brother mans well being, over who's pockets are the warmest.
You have a right, you are american.
You can vote, or chose not to. THe action is just as important.

If none of the candidates represents a reasonable choice for you, then you have every right to sit it out. You also have every right to B@tch. Especially about there being no one worth voting for. I don't mean voting for someone so that the other guy can't win. That is BS. I want someone to vote for that represents me and my views. I refuse to vote for someone to keep someone out. Now for many elections, my right to write-in a vote has been eliminated. There must be a DECLARED write-in candidate for you to be able to vote for them. I can no longer vote for my cousin, or whoever. I have been disenfranchised and I am pissed about that. I will b$tch all day long.

i am going for obrahma
ilike mc cain but he ruined it with palin i was 50 /50 either way
i liked mccain i think hes a much better republican than W. was in 00 is now ilike him on the war i like him on torture i like him on immagration
but he chose palin which means his first term would be like the last few years of reagans 2nd term...
i like obama tax plan ( i know no one here makes 250k year) i like the fact his health care plan is different from the republicans (throwing their hands in the air saying it cant be done) obama is the only one who even mentioned investing in infrastructure
