hey guys. last year i pulled the front bumper cover off my crx. reason is because i've always had an 84-85 bumper on my 87. now i've repaired the original bumper that came with it and i would like to put it back on. the steel frame is already on the car i just want to get the cover on now. at which points do i mount the cover onto the car so i make sure i dont miss any. i've actually had my bumper fall off in the past and dont want it to happen again. thanks.

found this so im guessing the civic is the same as the crx. funny because the previous owner used 2 bolts on both ends of the bumper instead of those slide on plastic clips. i have the clips on the rear bumper but not on the front. anyone know if these clips came on other hondas? because we have no 1g or 3g's at the yard near here.

Yep, the CRX bumper is the same. I remove mine all the time on my racecar. I have bolts on the sides, they hold up much better.

+1 on the side bolts. They hold up 1000% better than the plastic slip clips.
Honda, because it's hard to look baller in your mom's Volvo.Posted Image
The entire tool selection at Sears or the contents of a Snap-On truck will do you no good if you do not know how to use them.

great thanks guys. the bolts named "bumper lower mounts bolts" are no where near close to mounting on my car lol. anyway there are enough bolts holding it on.

i usually find it easier to remove the entire clip straight off the body of the car but thats just me.
