After years of lurking around RPR getting all kinds of good advice, the time has come for me to sell my 1987 Civic SI. Perhaps I am biased, but I have not seen a nicer original-condition 3G Civic – especially for an SI.

1987 Honda Civic SI
Black exterior and interior
177k miles
5 Speed, sunroof, tilt wheel

A Florida car that was originally sold by The Imported Car Store in Melbourne in November 1986. I bought it in April 2002 when it was traded in to Cocoa Hyundai. The car has given me over 4 years of reliable service, and has never left me stranded. The car is rust-free, looks, and drives very well. I would trust this car to go anywhere.

It is unmodified and well maintained. The timing belt, clutch, exhaust, and front brakes have all been serviced. However, the AC needs repair. The hatch supports have been replaced.

Oil changed regularly.

This is an original and unmodified Honda. Includes the original sunroof deflector, sunroof bag, and sun shade that fits under the sunroof (however the sun shade has a small tear). Original radio. Also have the owners manual that shows the original owner, etc.

There a few small dents, and the driver’s side floor mat is worn. Carpet and seats are clean. Will include the custom car cover that I use when the car is parked outside.

Price is $1200. Car is available for inspection. Car is near Cocoa Florida, which is 1 hour east of Orlando and 1 hour South of Daytona.

Only problem is that if come and hang out, I will probably change my mind and keep the car! It has not been an easy decision to sell.

Thanks to both for the nice compliments. I really have enjoyed owning this car.

I am trying to keep the price low for RPR peeps. Would really like to see the car go to someone who would appreciate it.

If this was anywhere near me i would buy that thing in a heartbeat. Why must you be in Florida. BTW are those tires you have in the pics AO48 Advans? Just noticed the tread pattern.
