yeah i think im going to be getting the optima 51R for my car also Optima's are great batteries.. unless marcus can give me a better price on the NRG-Cell..

Mr.D aka marcus aka Heeltoeautoguy gave me a great price on one of those NGR-cells its was only 90dollars and that includes the termanals so I think I saved 39 dollars.

ok well I got one. It was the one I wanted the very least "everstart" i think is the brand. From Wal-Mart dry.gif The biggest factor was because I have no job at the moment i can fling my remaining money around. And the battery that died was of the same brand so that gave me a hug discount so in total the new battery cost me $20 plus i got more amps in every range than i had before. So i guess making my wallet happy was more important this time. I really appreciate everyones great advice, and i know this will be a post to search for in the future. Someone feel free to compile everything into the FAQ biggrin.gif

NOOOO.... man.. i read this post to late. At my work we sell Interstate batterys. The only batterys that are good and are cheap( bagn for buck) would be Die Hard, Interstate. I think the battery you got at wal-mart isnt going to last to long. We sell the batterys for $95.95 but i get them for about $50 with a 75month warrenty, other then the 60month, on that site. Interstate batterys for civics are 550CCA. Another good battery are the ones from COSTCO. Those batterys have pretty good life and have a bit more CCA's. Overall i think that Interstate and DIehard are the leading competeters in batterys.

Man i got my die hard from sears and i love it, i have 900 wat amp, secondary engine fan, fog lights. And with a half farad capacitor i can sit at a light idleing at 400 rpms with all my accesories on and the bass thumping and the lights dont dim. Cant go wrong with that.

Walmart batteries have worked just fine for me. They're made by Johnson Controls.
They also make the DieHards and Optimas. wink.gif

Times may have changed as I've not bought one in
a while but I found Diehard to be the worst battery
on the planet with the worst warrenty.

I heart DieHard.

ACDelco is also good...but DieHard is tops.

Although I have no experience with more tuning-related batteries.

We used to sell Optimas but stopped after a whole bunch of defective ones came back(both the yellows and reds).Heard good things about the NRGCell and every Diehard i've had has lasted at least 6 years.

The NRGCELL is at 100% customer satisfaction at this point...never had a return in the almost 1 year I have been offing them.
