And arenD as for track time. We talked at BP after the races that day about possibly renting the track, Get a lot of members and friends and whoever to come down. We would have to figure out costs and everything but its just an idea right now.

as far as doing this again , I just may have a plan. The Sports car Club of BC wants to put on a big Import car show in the Drag racing parking area next year. Where you guys were parked. All of the local import clubs will be invited as well as some local shops. There will be more laps of the track (at a medium pace) and hopefully some trophies for awesome cars.
There are not to may more details as we do not even have a schedule for next years racing.
I will keep everyone updated to this event.

P.S.
I will let you know when the SCCBC race driver training course is. and no you dont have to go racing after, it just allows you to get a Novice liciense if you want.

Doodson, what would the possiblity of renting the track out for a day be? I think its pretty far fetched, with legal responsibilities and such, but is there a chance it could happen?
Cheers,

Sounds pricy. No more running off the track and killing people anymore and maybe the rates will go down!

No that wont cut it, you need to buy specific insurance from one of only 2 or 3 insurance places in the U.S. that sell it for our purposes. thats why i pay so much to go racing
Buy the way , That waiver you sign for drag racing , Talk to any lawyer and they will tell you that it is not going to stand up in court if someone dies on the Drag strip. I would think the Custom Car Club has some other insuranse backing them on those nights.

Chris, aren't you guys covered by ASN? That's what we use.
