Hello ladies and gents,

 

I recently got my self a 85, EW-2 non CVCC (CDM) CRX as a project car and I'm having a bit of a carb issue with it right now.

The carb just puffs clouds of gas, and squirts gas from the Accelorater pump diaphram, and wont start, only cranks.

 

Now being as this is a CMD carb with a manual choke, I have been finding it really hard to find a replacement carb and or gasket kit. Someone told me to look into a weber carb, with the ones I find are all for CVCC engines.

 

Does anyone have a suggestion on what I should do, or where I should check for gaskets or a replacement. A gasket set would be ideal, but it looks like this Carb has been taken apart before and tinkered with.

I have been surfing the euro civic sites, and they have different carb set up there, dual carbs...
