wanted to bump an old thread for some information.

 

i dont the blacktop swap in my CRX, my question is, how do i jump the wires for the "timing check"  i see how the brown wire was set up but what exactly did you connect it to? and how would i go about doing this

Look at the wiring diagram. If I remember correctly it's two wires going to the ECU. All you have to do is connect them to a switch and mount it in a location of your choice for convenience. All it was originally is a location in the engine compartment to jumper two pins which in essence creates a switch. On jumpered and OFF not jumpered. Found it for you B20 and C12. C12 connects to other things but it will work that way as those two wires go to the Ignition Timing Adjuster. Your welcome. JS
