No, its not a goddamn AE86...

This, my friends, is the ever elusive AE82

Its an 87 Corolla FX16 GTS

1.6 Twin cam 4AGE..T-VIS (secondaries in the intake...like a GSR)
5 speed close ratio tranny
4 wheel disc brakes
Front and rear factory sway bars
Independent rear end
Weighs about 2200lbs wet

and it even has a factory front upper strut tower brace

I've always wanted one, but they're not very common and I never see them for sale so I scooped this one up off Craigslist...I also have a 20V 4AGE silvertop (its a JDM 160hp motor w/factory ITB's) swap in my garage, it'll be in by summers end smile.gif

when I got it:

threw my wheels on it (they'd never been on a car, so I figured it was time to break them in):

Next to my truck for size comparison purposes:

The "4-Throttle" (which is what I have) is supposed to be alot of fun in these cars (from what I'm gathering on the Austrailian boards...since this car is almost non-existent in the US)

turbo on an ITB setup....?
-maybe

I have seen 4A turbo manifolds kicking around on ebay

For now, the N/A setup should be decent for my DD

These are rare here in the states? hell I see them all the time here in SoCal and my gf's mom has a red one (auto though), I guess it doesn't help that the car to person ratio here is 3:1 hahahahahhahaha!!!
