beating my head in every day trying to find decent shape outer door panels and side skirts for my 87' i constantly look for after market products that are built of studier material that resemble stock panels ( i hate the Ghetto after market body kit look) i was gutting my Rex and had a pristine rocker on it. i was so so gentle (being a body mechanic i am used to having to be ginger with things) and the fucker cracked sending me on a tangent. i found some skirts wanted to get opinions on them. what you think?

I like it particuarly for $125. It says availability 1 though.
Maybe helps you now today.
My guess is (have been through stuff like this before) you go to order it and it is not available, or,
they send you some random junk that you have to mail back.
Will be interesting to see how it goes!

i found them on ebay too, so thats a guaranteed availability. i think im more interested because even if they are a bit too "stylish" its a good starting point. i do fiberglass work so i could shave them down or alter them if need be to resemble the stock panels. the door panels are still going to be a hard one to figure out. still being new to the 1st gen CRX i cant believe NO ONE makes these parts. it seems everyone that has one needs them. its crazy.

I really prefer the look of the stock skirts, both dx and si.
You may already have gotten this info, but it can always use a re broadcast.
MEK and ABS sheet is a great way to repair the panels. I use black 1/16" sheet sections to back the panels once I've sanded them with a palm DA to remove any paint/contaminants. 320 grit works well to preserve the most plastic. The MEK turns the surfaces pasty and will operate just like an adhesive. It partially cures very quickly. I let the panels final cure for two days prior to sanding.
Crack filler can be prepared with all the 1/16" sheet remnants dissolved in MEK in a glass jar. Takes about 6 hours for it to turn to paste. It spreads just like any filler but shrinks quite a bit.
Ace Hardware has the MEK and Grainger sells the ABS. All cheap.
Don't throw it away, repair it.

I have no problems repairing Things, I do it all day at work. the problem is how insanely brittle the plastic is.

Those side skirts look very like some we have copied here in fibreglass. Pic from a local build thread. As I hear it the blending of the upper end into the fender is the difficult bit.
