The rebuild is well underway and i should have the painted shell back in a week or so cool.gif

Everything on the car is being replaced with either new or re-conditioned parts. I am aiming to have a brand new B20B powered civic at the end of the build and it should be like its just driven out of the factory.

Pictures of the rebuild can be found HERE or HERE

As you can see from the pics a new loom has been made for the car due to me not replacing the dash or heating system (to save weight).

The interior is being left stripped out with just the addition of a pair of bride fixed buckets (still to be bought) and a pair of Takata harnesses (also still to be bought).

The engine bay will be de-loomed and an eg civic spec aluminium rad, coloured hoses, green rocker cover etc etc

The engine spec will be:

B20B
1600 vtec head (lightly skimmed ported and polished)
Golden eagle oil feed kit
JE 12.5:1 comp pistons
Eagle rods with matching bearings
Block brace
Crank gurdle (probably a golden eagle one)
Custom intake manifold with prelude 2.2 injectors
Skunk 2 oversized throttle body
Custom exhaust manifold (4-1) and custom 2 1/2" exhaust

Im aiming for 230ish bhp which should see the car in the 12's with a weight close to 600 kilo's

The car will be running tokiko blue front dampers and koni rears with brand new bushes all round.

Ive just bought a nice new set of volk racing TE-37's for it biggrin.gif I intend on running road legal slicks in the form of Toyo proxes R888's running 215's on the front and 205's on the rear cool.gif

PICS OF THE WHEELS ARE HERE

Ill be updating this post as i progress with the build so keep checking guys wink.gif

Man, it looks great, white is my favourite color.
Did you use clearcoat?
Is that Championship white?
Again, that's one sweet Civic, I wish my car was white.

How's this for a thread revival!

9 years on and i've still got it. Its not been finished since 2005 and has recently been back to the body shop for some more fettling.

Its had a lot of welding, cutting, modifying carried out which includes a new firewall, 6 point roll cage with door bars and harness bars and a few other bits

I chucked together a quick spec list earlier: These are all parts I have here ready to fit :)

BC Coilovers, panhard bar, 15" Sprint hart CP-F's, AD08's, 290mm 2 piece front discs with HiSpec Billet 4 calipers, keeping the drums on the rear but fully rebuilt and a bias adjuster on the new pedal box, sunroof removed and skinned over, 6 point rollcage with harness bar and door bars, custom seat mounts on the drivers side using a bride rail from an S2000, bride seat, sabelt 4" harness, fuel cell, uprated fuel pump, braided lines, braided brake lines throughout, custom firewall, Rywire engine loom, Raptor wireless steering wheel controls for lights, wipers etc, hondata S300 management, S2000 gauge cluster, b18c4, skunk2 intake manifold with 70mm throttle body, omnipower 4 bar map sensor, fmic, cast manifold, Turbosmart wastegate, Turbonetics super 60 turbo, custom down pipe incorporating the screamer, 550cc injectors, black intercooler piping, hidden custom car loom etc etc

I'll pop some pics up later on 8)

So barring a geo and tuning session the car is pretty much done (well this phase anyway)

I'm extremely pleased with how the car has turned out and can't wait to get it on track to see what its capable of :)
