I think that would work great. Bolt through a piece of pipe in the middle, then the pedal linkage with 1/4 rod ends, and one end of the push rod the same. Hmm, that sounds delicious, wish i was there to help.

Man I would love for you to help! My farmer skills and hand tools aren't on par with that of a machinist. Think I might weld the piece of pipe to a flat chunk of steel, then I can bolt it to the top of the pedal assembly instead of weld. I'll look for other bolt on options as well.

Revisting this cause I found a better way of doing this and thought I would share. Hush Performance produces a completely bolt on unit that bolts right to the pedal assembly for 88-91 Civics and the 90-93 Integras, too bad they don't make it for our car! The pics posted are a couple different versions I found on a Honda tech post. I checked out their video on youtube, and yes on the EF you can get away with running a hydro and get away with looking totally stock! Check it out! Too bad there isn't a machinist out there that loves the 1G/3Gs that might undertake a project like like this and maybe sell it on his web site........... :P
