Sedan Dilema

I still have my Sedan sitting in my driveway from the day the timing belt broke. A local guy keeps coming by wanting to haul it off for $50 but I know its worth so much more to the right person.

What should I do??? Even if I fixed the engine it still wouldn't pass inspection. Would anyone here in the Texas area want to buy it from me as is? Or should I take off all the valuable parts and let this guy haul it off? It kills me because I love this car so much!

^^Holy crap. Who are you, buddy?^^

FIX IT! THEN DRIVE IT!

Going to Hawaii? You need a Dune Buggy.

WTB: 14x8 or 9" Panasports or Watanabe RS.

WTB: 3g Civic hatch gauge cowl, brown.

Who am I? I am the venerable nivek2002! wink.gif

I would love to fix it and drive it but I have the problem of it not being legal. I stripped out all the emissions stuff and installed a Weber DGV downdraft.

I know. I was joking. What happened? Your computer was broken for like two years?

Maybe you can switch it back to stock for the inspection, then swtich it back to hot import after the inspection. I've done the re-vac. It's not hard as long as you keep the black boxes and noodles all as one piece. Then just follow the instructions under the hood to connect the carb up.

Was worried for a second I was forgotten. ohmy.gif No broken computer, just got busy with life and my cars took a backseat for a bit.

Problem with that solution is I would have to source all the emissions equipment since mine is long gone. Thats almost to much work to me especially seeing as how I might have to rebuild the engine.

Here, and I will need it back though. I still have the stock setup from my auto system. I can loan it to ya. I say keep it. Or buy mine and use it as a parts car. My Si swap is almost done, just working out some bugs.

The entire tool selection at Sears or the contents of a Snap-On truck will do you no good if you do not know how to use them.
