so i just got an Si, my DX has a 5 speed and 165k and shifts Perfectly, Whereas the Si transmission IF stock has 265k, so i dont know which one i want to use

i Also have Another 5 speed transmission from my CRX Dx i had, i put synchros from a 4 speed transmission 1-4th gear synchros, but i notice that oil may leak into the flywheel housing from the transmission due to Oil Seal 91216-PA0-003, Link --> http://parts.sonshon...trimLevel=12057 (Seal Numbered 13 in the illustration)

i havent searched google much, figured id ask if anyone had a source for this seal

Think National / Timiken Seal # 222220 is the GW-20 Transmission Input Shaft Seal.
That Seal goes in from the inside, requires splitting the case, removing shift forks and gear shafts,
and then pulling the Input Shaft Bearing out off the back side of the Clutch Housing to get to the $3 Seal.
If going that far into the trans, # BK225 is the aftermarket Bearing & Seal Kit, (7) Bearings & (4) Seals,
Kit BK225WS includes Syncros. Bearing Kit pictures look like it doesn't include
the (4) needle bearings that are on the Counter Shaft sub-assembly though
If it's got wheels or tatas, it's gonna consume time and money

i already have a DX transmission that have new synchros 1-4th gear, but i dont wanna use it until after i put that new seal in, i have no problem tearing apart the transmission and replacing all the bearings and seals, What website is that kit available from???

Should i use the Si transmission, OR the DX transmission?? the Si picks up speed quicker, but has a lower top speed and the DX picks up speed a little bit slower, but has a higher top speed? if im wrong please correct me

Google shopping finds it at AutoZone, Advance Auto Parts, and O'Reily's iirc searching "BK225 Bearing"
and there are other online sources that google finds if just doing a general search using "BK225 Bearing".
Hard to say which gearset to use, everybody has different "tastes".
In the '87 FSM, 4.400 Si vs 4.250 DX Ring & Pinion is the only difference beteen those two.
Pretty sure there are more 84-5-6-7 year-to-year Si & DX gear & final drive ratio differences
