Damn...

Thanks for the info. So, what model trans comes in a '87 CRX Si? Anyone up for a swap? Hope that is not in the wrong forum.

Only the CRX/Civic dx, hf, and Si tranny will bolt up. Only difference between those is gear ratios. There is also an elusive 4-speed that came in some Civic's here in the states. Thaaaaaaaaat's it. lol

Sorry, but our EW motors aren't quite as............... let's say, versatile, as other later model Honda motors.

EDIT: sorry, I didn't see that you asked for the model, specifically, of the tranny. I'm sorry to say that I don't remember that one factoid off the top of my head.

Still looking for the model number of the transmission that is OEM to a 1987 Hohda CRX Si. The car I bought has grinds in 1st and 3erd gears according to the seller. Just trying to be proactivein sourcing options rather than paying for a rebuild.

Also looking for the brochure for a 1986 CRX listinf the F-1 options.

Designated a "GW-020" Transmission in the online parts manuals,
not in the Transmission Section, but in the Engine Section
under the Gasket Kit, Engine Assy, Transmission Assy Section,
Item 6 = 20011-PE6-J30 TRANSMISSION ASSY. (GW-020) (NOT AVAILABLE)
is what it shows for a 1987 CRX Si KA5MT
