Check out the rust on mine. I have never done anything like this before. So it may look a bit of a mess. But I'd say it is good enough.

It looks a lot worse on yours due to all the bits just hanging there. Cut out a nice square and see whats up.

My body guy just inspected, not as bad as the pictures indicated but still pricey and needs to be dealt with ASAP. Ideally he said I need the entire floor and rockers from a donor cut out as one piece to do it right and save. On the hunt.

There's a few good ones here in Cali. Actually two in amazingly great condition. Up to you if you want to save yourself the money, time, and headaches.

easier time wise and logistics to pay the $1500 to have it fixed (partial trade of my 84' Fiero), have it done in a week or so. No swapping parts over, trying to sell a car I know needs work, losing money I just spent.I'll chalk it up to being to quick on the trigger. This guy is good, it will be done right.

Now to make it easier on him and my wallet by finding a complete donor floor/rockers

Talk to Danny at NW Classic Honda first, He may be able to hook you up. If that doesn't work out pm me, we have plenty of rust free chassis sitting in the boneyard. It's a shame, due to stupid state laws, once they're in there, they are done for, can't get a title for them I've been told. So if I can make a little extra money and you can fix your car I'd be happy to get em for ya.

Danny's working on the small stuff. Medieval/Dsousa for the rest. 86hatchie may have a chassis in S.C. But I am open if that doesn't pan out. No need for title, it's getting cut up so I myself don't have to deal with that as you point out, plus all the time swapping parts over. Where are you located?

I will put this out there, I have a 95% rust free 87 Si. It is down to the shell and alot of parts to go with it, and a parts car. I have to let it go.
